Wizard World Gathering
This May wannabe wizards can get together in the chambers of Assembly Roxy. Magic, mischief, music and refreshments inspired by the books by J. K. Rowling will create an apt atmosphere, with alchemy brewing, Golden Hare Books and Suki Bakes all expected. Visitors will receive a gin cocktail on arrival, witness three live magic shows, take a fantasy quiz and attend a potion class with Edinburgh University wizards living undercover as physicists. A costume competition and fantastic beats by DJ Gregarious are said to be magical, too.
